Our expertise on BIRT Report Designer


ReportingSoft is currently working on the development of an integrated BIRT reporting project to support the sales force of APG|SGA. Part of this project consists in migrating APG|SGA's current Oracle and Jasper reports to the BIRT technology.

 

Some of the challenges and highlights of this project include:

  • The automation of the unit testing of BIRT reports
  • Advanced development, problem solving and bug analysis related to BIRT templates and the BIRT engine
  • Use of APG|SGA's existing POJO objects as a data source to the BIRT reports
  • Design and development of the data access objects (DAO) layer
  • Creation of BIRT libraries containing reusable objects in different reports
